Home From Camping

We got home from camping at 6:30 this evening.  It really was a fantastic weekend.  Good friends. Good camping and very good weather.  OK, it rained a little, but not enough to dampen our spirits.

Listening to the ocean waves was wonderful.  Walking on the beach truly was romantic.  Cold but romantic.  It was probably in the mid 50s on the beach. 

There were lots of ducks in the RV park. They were fun to watch.  There were buzzards (turkey vultures) flying overhead.  They look like eagles soaring until you look closer.  Sharon and I think they are a beautiful bird. 

The only downside to the trip was it took 78 gallons of gasoline to refill out tank.  Of course that is the price you pay for owning any RV.  That 78 gallons was for about 2 or 3 local camping trips and this one longer trip.
